Girls scoop four Golds at the Senior Maths Challenge

Last term, 31 girls from the sixth form and one year 11 student took part in the Senior Maths Challenge. The top 40% of students nationally receive a gold, silver or bronze certificate. The best performing students amongst the gold certificate-winners are then invited to take part in follow-on rounds, including around 1000 students nationally being invited to take part in the British Mathematical Olympiad (BMO) Round 1.

We are very pleased to announce that between them, the Luckley students gained 18 certificates for excellent performance.

Chris Huo, Mi Joo Choi, Deborah Lee and Gina Lee achieved Gold certificates and also qualified for the BMO Round 1, at which Mi Joo subsequently qualified for Round 2 , which takes place this term. Watch this space!
