An evening of absurdist theatre

Active ImageCongratulations to the cast and crew of “Two Kinds of Fool”, our Sixth Form production that took place in October, for two evenings of fantastic performances enjoyed by everyone.

Active ImageThe three plays “Waiting for Godot” by Samuel Beckett, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead” by Tom Stoppard and “The Dumb Waiter” by Harold Pinter complemented each other brilliantly. Beckett’s pair of fools set the tone for the clear homage of Stoppard and Pinter’s plays. All three plays are about waiting for an opportunity for action, and for an answer to all our questions about the meaning of life itself.

The six students performed with great professionalism, producing three plays that were very memorable.
