Entrance Procedure for Overseas Pupils:
Parents should complete the registration form and submit with a £75 fee The school will require an initial report giving an account of the academic achievements and personal qualities of the student The student will be required to sit appropriate entrance papers in examination conditions The pupils must take an ESL written test to determine their level of English. After the application and examination: The school will review the report and the examination papers The school will then either make an offer of a place or decline the application. The offer of a place may be conditional on language support and where necessary the ESL teacher will suggest a programme to suit the individual pupils needs. The family will be sent an acceptance form to complete and return along with the deposit. This must be a hard copy, as it requires a signature and cheque. Once the Registrar receives the acceptance and payment the family will be sent a new starter Information Pack which gives details about starting at Luckley, the purchase of school uniform etc. Arrangements can be made for applicants from overseas to sit our papers at their current school. Wherever possible, applicants for Year 12 entry will be invited to interview. If places are available, we will consider admitting girls to Years 7-9 during the academic year. Our Registrar will be happy to liaise directly with families, or relocation and education agencies to provide information and advice for families.
